NOSEY RADAMA
Furcifer pardalis
Scroll to the bottom for care information and available hatchlings
SATURN is the newest member of our family. She joined us in December 2009 at 9 months old, originally bred by MKChameleon. Saturn was very shy when we first had her but after a month settling in she has come out of her shell. She is very sweet natured and willingly comes out to say hello. She loves to be misted and will stand on her back legs relishing the warm water droplets. We are looking to breed her with Closeau later in 2010.
CLOSEAU is an amazing member of the family. He is the kindest by far with a very calm temperament. He is the chameleon of choice when trying to calm nerves of people who are new to reptiles. He is very good with children and is happy to take part in displays at events. Closeau is a delight to own. Nosey Radamas are not very well known about in the UK and we looking forward to using Closeau in a breeding project with Saturn to increase the numbers of this stunning locality.

Basking site
Yes - 90F (32C) for adults
Babies - a small 20W desk light will provide a light spot without too much extra heat since babies prefer it cooler until 4 months
ALL bulbs (UV and heat) should be behind a screen covering to prevent the chameleon touching the bulb
Humidity
Adults and hatchlings 2-3 times daily misting will encourage the chameleon to drink but allow to dry out between sprays to avoid stagnant water.
Ventilation
Very important. To create good airflow place large vent panels at the bottom and top of the vivarium. Mesh vivariums or adapted wooden vivariums work well.
